Therapy Services
Individual and Relational Therapy
Initial intake and therapy sessions typically last 50-55 minutes. Frequency and duration of services are determined by need.
Individual sessions are for those aged 13 and older. Common reasons for therapy include: depression and anxiety, trauma, life transitions, relationship stress, self-identity and personality disorders.
Relational therapy is for families, couples, or other relationship constellations. Relational therapy may be the primary form of therapy or supplemental to individual sessions. Common reasons for relational therapy include: pre-marital and marital therapy, parenting stress, blended family concerns, divorce/separation, family conflict.
Brainspotting
Brainspotting is a brain based therapy modality that is incorporated into individual and family sessions. Brainspotting is effective for a wide variety of emotional and somatic conditions. Brainspotting is particularly effective with trauma-based situations, helping to identify and heal underlying trauma that contributes to anxiety, depression and other behavioral conditions.

Fees for Therapy Services
Twinflower Psychological Services, LLC uses a fee for service model (cash, check, HSA/FSA, CC) and does not bill insurance companies for services.
Fees:
Intake session 55-minutes: $225
Individual and relational sessions 55-minutes: $180; 85-minutes $265.
Extended and Intensive sessions are available by request.
Using a fee for service model means we, collaboratively, have full control over your therapy process, including: length of service and sessions, location (in office or telehealth), and confidentiality of your records. As a fee for service therapist, I can fully focus on your concerns without identifying and reporting a specific mental health diagnosis as required by insurance companies.
There are options for you to consider that may make this more feasible:
You may have out of network benefits
Check with your insurance policy to determine if you have out of network benefits. If so,
I can provide you with a monthly Superbill for you to submit to your insurance company
for reimbursement.
You can use your HSA (Health Spending Account) or FSA (Flexible Spending Account)
Open enrollment is approaching. See if you are eligible for an HSA or FSA plan. I can accept
the cards that are issued for these accounts or provide you a receipt for reimbursement.
Frequency of sessions and length of session
We can discuss if reducing the frequency of sessions or having fewer longer sessions are appropriate for your needs.
In compliance with the No Surprises Act, Twinflower Psychological Services, LLC offers the below formula to estimate the cost of your care. While the course of psychotherapy can be unpredictable, your fee per session is payable the same day of your service. You have the options to opt out at anytime during your therapy process.
To estimate your cost, please select the type of session and multiply the cost of that session by the number of sessions you will attend. In example, 1 intake session, plus weekly individual 55-minute sessions is represented by this formula: $200 (1 intake session) + $3600 (24 55-min sessions) = $3800. Your provider will discuss your specific plan during your first session. See the file below for an example of the GFE you will receive from your provider.

MFT and LPC/LPCC Supervision
I offer supervision for individuals who are pursuing licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist, and Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. I am a MN state approved supervisor, and an AAMFT Approved Supervisor.
My supervision style is strongly influenced by Feminist and Bowenian approaches to therapy, and is developmental in nature. I am interested in understanding where you, as the supervisee, are in your process of developing clinical skills and Self-of-Therapist awareness, and where you hope to arrive via our supervisory process. I will attend to your social location as it impacts your clinical work and support you in developing/honing your theoretical stance. While my own therapeutic stance is integrated, I am knowledgeable about the major schools of family therapy.
Frequency of supervision is based on your need and typically compliments your employment- based supervision.
Ongoing supervision group meets biweekly on alternating Fridays and Saturdays from 7am-9am CST, on Zoom
Fees:
Individual Supervision/Consultation: $130/hour.
Group: $35/hour (Group min. 4)
